The Illinois High School Association Baseball Advisory Committee met at the IHSA Office in Bloomington on Wednesday.
There were no terms and conditions recommendations, but there were a couple of minor administrative recommendations and other discussion.
One of the administrative recommendations was to give more game balls to Regional and Sectional sites in order to make up for weather-damaged balls.
Other discussion items included: regional sites hosted by the top four seeded teams, an earlier season start date, sectional sites being held at small college facilities, postseason sites with lights, stricter enforcing of the IHSA by-laws at supersectional events, and moving the seed meetings later in the season.
