An early morning fire on Tuesday caused severe damage to Town and Country Lanes in Rock Island, according to published reports.
Town and Country Lanes is the home of the Rock Island Girls Bowling team. Their last meet there was on December 8, against Biggsville West Central. Last year's IHSA Sectional Meet was held there as well.
A home meet with Dixon was scheduled for this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Two more home dates were also on the schedule to round out the year.
