Boys Basketball Coaching Record Race

As the the new calendar year of 2011, Rockford Boylan head coach Steve Goers has six more wins than Westchester St. Joseph coach Gene Pingatore.

Goers has 869 wins in his career (1967, 1972-present), while Pingatore has 863 (1969-present). Boylan, who won the Pekin Holiday Tournament last week, is now 11-2 on the year. St. Joseph, in its first year in the East Suburban Central Conference, is 2-8 so far.
